With an experience of 27 years Athma Mind Care Center is specialized in Promotive, Preventive and Curative aspects of Mental Health.
The centre provides holistic treatment with combined pharmaco therapy and counseling, group therapy, after care rehabilitation. We have very high abstinence rate.
This centre is intended to deal with child & adolescence with behavioral and psychological issues. We also offer school mental health programmes.
The only recognized Centre in Tiruchirappalli to conduct remedial classes for all age group children with Learning Difficulties and committed to create awareness.

Athma provides comprehensive academic lectures, adequate exposure to clinical in various settings like Mind Care Centre, De-addiction, Occupational and vocational training and rehabilitation centers, So that they can excel in the profession.
Rehabilitation is integral part of treatment of chronic mentally ill people who cannot be placed in regular jobs. We engage them in vocational training, marketing, social skills to make them return to mainstream. We offer stipend & medication to these beneficiaries.
Residential Center was established to protect the lives, dignity, and rights of mentally ill those who cannot be cared in their families for varieties of reasons. We engage them in occupational therapy, group work & recreation with proper supervised medication.
The aim is to enhance and utilize the positive skills of children with Intellectual Disability, Autism, ADHD, & Multiple Disabilities with the help of supportive therapies with the aims of bring them back to mainstream.
To eradicate stigma and discrimination about mental illness Athma has been organizing programmes in all sectors especially in villages. We also organize community identification camps.
There is no ambulance service for emergency psychiatry and majority of the ambulance services hesitate to take persons with mental illness if they are aggressive, violent and shabby. So the families bring patients late though the crisis is imminent because of vehicle in-availability. So Athma started ambulance facility to serve the needy.
